About the event
During this webinar we will provide you with a holistic trauma-informed disclosure management, risk assessment, and signposting system.
Once a person realises that they are in an abusive situation or relationship, there is currently no clear path to safety, justice, recovery, or healing.
We are asking you to help us build one.
By covering these steps in one streamlined training programme, you can avoid service users falling through the gaps, and the unforeseen safeguarding risks that can present further down their path.
Currently, there's a huge burden placed on the victim or survivor to escape the abuse, safeguard themselves (or their children if they have any), to re-disclose and traumatise themselves in order to access support, and to begin the long and difficult healing process.
Professionals and organisations surrounding people affected by abuse, have a responsibility to provide solutions that do not cause further harm to victims and survivors.
We are going to show you how.
